However, some tool descriptions and locations may vary, but the overall result should be the same.
You will also need Animation Shop.

Open in PSP and minimise.

INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1

Open a new canvas 800 x 600 transparent background

New Canvas

STEP 2

In the Materials Palette load
Foreground with #DFADF63 and Background with #FFFFFF

Change Style to Gradient
Make a Foreground-background gradient, linear style, angle =45, repeats=3

Select the Flood Fill Tool and floodfill layer with the gradient

Effects > Plugins > Filters Unlimited > Background Designer IV > BlueBerry Pie

Effects > Edge Effects > Enhance

STEP 3

Layer > New Raster Layer
Select the Flood Fill Tool and floodfill layer with the gradient

Effects > Plugins > Filters Unlimited > Background Designer IV > FFG Xaggerate (default setting)

Effect > Edge Effects > Enhance More

Layer > Properties
Reduce opacity of Raster 2 to 38

STEP 4

Layers > New Raster Layer
Selections > Select All

Open tube merydesign_navidad80.psp
Edit > Copy
Minimise tube
Edit > Paste Into Selection
Selections > Select None
Image > Mirror

Layers > Properties
Reduce opacity of Raster 3 to 60

Effects > Edge Effects > Enhance More
Effects > Edge Effects > Enhance

Layers > Merge Visible

This is what you should have now

STEP 5

Layers > New Raster Layer
Selections > Select All

Selections > Modify Contract
Number of pixels = 5

Selections > Invert

STEP 6

In the Materials Palette change Style to Pattern
Select goldbeads.jpg from the drop down list
Angle=0, Scale=100

Select the Flood Fill Tool and floodfill selection with the pattern

Selections > Select None

Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow

Change Vertical and Horizontal Offsets to minus 2 (-2)

Layers > Merge Visible

STEP 7

Layers > New Raster Layer
Select the Flood Fill Tool and floodfill layer with backround colour #FFFFFF

Layers > New Mask Layer
Select sg starframe from the dropdown list

Layers > Merge Group

Effects > Edge Effects > Enhance More

Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow
Check Shadow on new layer

Change Vertical and Horizontal Offsets to minus 2 (-2)

STEP 8

Maximise tube yp-joy-hope-peace.psp
Edit > Copy
Minimise tube
Edit > Paste as new layer
Layers > Arrange > Bring to Top

Effects > Image Effects > Offset

Layers > New Raster Layer
Add your name and/or watermark

NOW TO ANIMATE

STEP 10

In the Layers Palette highlight Group - Raster 1 (Star frame)

Effects >> Plug Ins >> DSB Flux >> Bright Noise

Edit >> Copy Merged
Open Animation Shop
Edit >> Paste >> As New Animation

STEP 12

Back to Paint Shop Pro
Edit >> Undo Bright Noise

Effects >> Plug Ins >> DSB Flux >> Bright Noise

Edit >> Copy Merged
Over to Animation Shop
Edit >> Paste >> After Current Frame

STEP 14

Back to Paint Shop Pro
Edit >> Undo Bright Noise

Effects >> Plug Ins >> DSB Flux >> Bright Noise

Edit >> Copy Merged
Over to Animation Shop
Edit >> Paste >> After Current Frame

STEP 16

View >> Animation
If you are happy with your animation, resize if desired
Save as a gif
