You will need the following to complete this tutorial: tubeclaudiaviza-paisaje46.pspimage starfish.psp Mask058.jpg yp_boat_frame.pspimage yp_quote_ocean-memories01.psp yp_quote_ocean_memories02.psp yp-ocean-mem-sel.PspSelection All the above can be downloaded here Download and extract to a file on your computer Open tubes in PSP and minimise Place yp-ocean-mem-sel.PspSelection in your PSP Selections folder Plug Ins Eye Candy 4000 - Jiggle The above can be downloaded HERE Download and extract to your Plug Ins folder. *********** Drag this arrow with you to mark your place in the tutorial Drag and Drop Script from Dynamic Drive ********** INSTRUCTIONS STEP 1 Maximise tube yp_boat_frame.pspimage Window >> Duplicate Minimise original STEP 2 Effects >> 3D Effects >> Drop Shadow STEP 3 In the Materials Palette load Foreground with White #FFFFFF and Background with Dark Grey #808080 STEP 4 Layers >> New Raster Layer Select Flood Fill Tool and fill layer with White #FFFFFF Layers >> Arrange >> Move Down STEP 5 Maximise tube tubeclaudiaviza-paisaje46.pspimage Edit >> Copy Minimise tube Edit >> Paste as New Layer Layers >> Duplicate STEP 6 In the Layer Palette make Raster 2 (bottom layer) invisible and highlight Raster 1 (top layer) Layers >> Merge Visible Make Raster 2 visible STEP 7 In the Layer Palette make sure the top layer (Merged) is highlighted Layers >> New mask layer >> From Image Select Mask058.jpg from the drop down list Layers >> Merge >> Merge Group STEP 8 Maximise tube starfish.psp Edit >> Copy Minimise tube Edit >> Paste as New Layer With the Move Tool position in the bottom left-hand corner See finished image for placement Apply Drop Shadow as in STEP 2 Repeat Drop Shadow changing Vertical and Horizontal Offsets to minus 2 (-2) STEP 9 Maximise tube yp_quote_ocean-memories01.psp Edit >> Copy Minimise tube Edit >> Paste as New Layer With the Move Tool centre at the top of the image See finished image for placement Apply Drop Shadow as in STEP 2 STEP 10 Maximise tube yp_quote_ocean-memories02.psp Edit >> Copy Minimise tube Edit >> Paste as New Layer With the Move Tool position at the bottom of the image See finished image for placement Apply Drop Shadow as in STEP 2 STEP 11 Layers >> New Raster Layer Add your name and/or watermark STEP 12 Selections >> Select All Selections >> Modify >> Contract Contract 2 pixels Selections >> Invert STEP 13 Select Flood Fill Tool and fill selection with Background colour Dark Grey #808080 Selections >> Select None STEP 14 Layers >> Merge >> Merge All (Flatten) If you do not wish to animate, stop here and save your work as a jpg STEP 15 Selections >> Load/Save Selection >> Load Selection from Disk Select yp-ocean-mem-sel from the options STEP 16 Selections >> Promote Selection to Layer Layers >> Duplicate twice You now have 3 selection layers Re-name these layers Wave 1, Wave 2 and Wave 3 STEP 17 In the Layers Palette highlight Wave 1 Effects >> Eye Candy 4000 >> Jiggle STEP 18 In the Layers Palette highlight Wave 2 Effects >> Eye Candy 4000 >> Jiggle Same settings as in STEP 17 Click the Random Seed button once Step 19 In the Layers Palette highlight Wave 3 Effects >> Eye Candy 4000 >> Jiggle Same settings as in STEP 18 Click the Random Seed button once Selections >> Select None STEP 20 In the Layers Palette make Wave 2 and Wave 3 invisible Highlight Wave 1 Edit >> Copy Merged STEP 21 Open Animation Shop Edit >> Paste >> As New Animation Back to PSP STEP 22 In the Layers Palette make Wave 1 and Wave 3 invisible Highlight and make Wave 2 visible Edit >> Copy Merged Back to Animation Shop STEP 23 Edit >> Paste >> After Current Frame Back to PSP STEP 24 In the Layers Palette make Wave 1 and Wave 2 invisible Highlight and make Wave 3 visible Edit >> Copy Merged Back to Animation Shop STEP 25 Edit >> Paste >> After Current Frame Stay in Animation Shop STEP 26 Edit >> Select All Animation >> Frame Properties Change the display time to 25 This is what you should have now STEP 27 View >> Animation If you are happy with the animation activate the frames Resize if desired Animation >> Resize Animation I resized mine to 700 x 528 pixels Save as a gif.
