INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1

Open a new canvas 800 x 600 transparent background

New Canvas

STEP 2

In the Materials Palette load Foreground with #000000 Black

Select Flood Fill Tool and fill layer with Foreground Color #000000 Black

Effects >> Texture Effects >> Blinds

STEP 3

Maximise tube 2013 - paint - LB TUBES.pspimage
Edit >> Copy
Minimise original
Edit >> Paste as New Layer

Zoom in
Selection Tool >> Freehand Selection

Select the red section

Edit >> Clear

Selections >> Select None

STEP 4

Layers >> Duplicate

In the Layers Palette make the top layer (Copy of Raster 2) invisible
Highlight the middle layer (Raster 2)

Working on Raster 2

Effects >> Plugins >> MuRa's Seamless >> Shift at Random

Effects >> Image Effects >> Offset

Layers >> Duplicate
Image >> Mirror
Layers >> Merge >> Merge Down
Effects >> Edge Effects >> Enhance

In the Layers Palette reduce opacity of Raster 2 to 65

STEP 6

Maximise tube 2013-03-22_Loros_La_Bruji.pspimage
Edit >> Copy
Minimise original
Edit >> Paste as New Layer
Image >> Resize 75%
Resize All Layers UNCHECKED

Effects >> Image Effects >> Offset

Zoom in
With the Freehand Selection Tool (same setting as before) and holding down the SHIFT key
select the two areas as below

Edit >> Clear
Selections >> Select None

STEP 7

Effects >> 3D Effects >> Drop Shadow

Repeat Drop Shadow changing Vertical and Horizontal Offsets to minus 2 (-2)

STEP 8

In the Layers Palette highlight and make the top layer (Copy of Raster 2) visible

Effects >> Image Effects >> Offset

Effects >> 3D Effects >> Drop Shadow

Repeat Drop Shadow changing Vertical and Horizontal Offsets to minus 2 (-2)

STEP 10

Layers >> New Raster Layer

Selections >> Select All

Selections >> Modify >> Contract
Number of pixels = 5

Selections >> Invert

Select Floodfill Tool and fill selection with Foreground Color #000000 Black
Selections >> Select None

STEP 11

Layers >> New Raster Layer

Selection Tool >> Custom Selection

Select Floodfill Tool and fill selection with Foreground Color #000000 Black

Selections >> Modify Contract
Number of pixels = 5

Effects >> Texture Effects >> Blinds

Do NOT de-select

STEP 12

Layers >> New Raster Layer

Selections >> Modify Contract
Number of pixels = 5

Maximise yp-text-spalshes-of-colour.pspimage
Edit >> Copy
Minimise original
Edit >> Paste into Selection
Selections >> Select None

STEP 13

Effects >> 3D Effects >> Drop Shadow

Repeat Drop Shadow changing Vertical and Horizontal Offsets to minus 2 (-2)

STEP 14

Layers >> New Raster Layer
Add your name and/or watermark

STEP 15

Layers >> Merge All (flatten)

Resize if desired and save as a jpg.
